I implemented a GLSL shader in my PyOpenGL app that would show texture artists how much texture density was provided in their model.
I wrote many widgets for the Lookdev tool. This one allowed browsing the error log and could send email reports.
In the Lookdev tool, I included a feature that would display a table of differences between different materials in the inheritance tree.

My material editor had inheritance features to allow seeing default, local or inheritied values and hovering would show where the inherited value came from.
